MATTA unveils new trophy and brand identity for The G4D Open

The G4D Open took place 15-17 May 2024 at Woburn, launching a new trophy and brand identity.

Following the successful inaugural G4D Open last year, MATTA was commissioned to create an emblematic trophy and brand identity that captures the spirit and achievements of the world’s best golfers with disabilities.

The 2024 G4D Open winners, Kipp Popert and Daphne van Houten, were presented with the new trophy. Its modern and flowing structure represents the diverse journeys of each participant through the game of golf, and the base includes Braille inscriptions.

Inspired by the trophy’s silhouette and how light plays through its structure, we also developed a bold and dynamic brand identity for The G4D Open.

It was also brilliant to share this experience with some of our amazing R&A clients on the day. Watch a video about The G4D Open below.
