I’ve worked across diversity, equity and inclusion for the last ten years, and I’ve played sport all my life. As a woman in the field, very rarely have I felt as though Sport campaigns and activations have really spoken to me and the life I live.
MATTA’s campaigns changed all that. From using real-world experiences of top athletes, telling the stories that can sometimes get overlooked, or showcasing the talent that inspire the grassroots, every campaign from MATTA really centres what it means to build out content that is diverse and inclusive, but also representative of the passion, commitment and heart that drives all those who love sport. This doesn’t end with with the external campaigns.
As an organisation, MATTA is committed to building inclusive and exciting cultures internally, ensuring staff are champions of equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the work they do. From their dedicated fundraising, to staff training Liz Ward activities it is clear the commitment to EDI extends to every part of the business.
