Women’s Sports Lead, Flo Williams, presents the unique branding opportunity that could unlock commercial potential at Accelerator Programme

The year-long programme run by UK Government Department of Business & Trade in partnership with Deloitte Sports Business Group, The Women’s Sport Accelerator Programme assists 20 of the top women’s sports properties in the UK in increasing their commercial awareness, potential and network. The programme has provided mentorship, workshops, roundtable discussions and access to experts in the industry. MATTA have presented at both Wembley & Deloitte London HQ discussing the marketing & branding opportunities that lay the foundations for commercial success.

At the final & most recent event, Women’s Sports Lead, Flo Williams, presented our 8 step process that all properties in Women’s Sport could consider in order to unlock new commercial opportunities whilst strengthening their brands. This process was built with the ability to help already commercially successful entities whilst also providing core pillars for properties at the beginning of their journeys. The Women’s Sport Accelerator Programme has allowed for this organic expertise share across the industry in different stages of their process, adding value, diverse thinking and bulletproofing strategies that commercial success is reliant on.
