MATTA has created a spectacular TVC for The International Cricket Council (ICC) as part of the ‘OUT OF THIS WORLD’ campaign it also created, which promotes the T20 Men’s World Cup 2024 taking place this June in the West Indies and the US.

The public ticket ballot has already provided millions of fans from around the world an equal opportunity to register and apply for tickets to ICC’s pinnacle T20 event. With general ticket sale open, the TVC showcases the various locations of the T20 World Cup games in the US and West Indies; it has been created to appeal to existing cricket lovers and attract new audiences.

The film takes viewers on a journey that positions the games fully ‘OUT OF THIS WORLD’ in every sense. Characters across the West Indies and the USA are depicted going about their regular lives until they witness a beautiful phenomenon in the sky. Among those captivated on the Antiguan beach by the celestial event is South African cricket player Quinton de Kock.

The story then unfolds with cricket stars Marcus Stoinis and Kieron Pollard enjoying a relaxing afternoon, abruptly interrupted when an unidentified object lands in a pool, causing a splash. The chaos continues as the same object dents local taxi driver Manny’s taxi not once, but twice. Bewildered, Manny steps out of his taxi and is drawn into a highlight reel of electrifying, awe-inspiring cricket.

We see various characters, like Manny, transition into T20 cricket enthusiasts. The narrative concludes with him transformed into a complete T20 cricket convert, avidly encouraging his taxi passengers to join in with the excitement. The passengers – Shyam Sharma and Mr.Pakistan – two super cricket fans, clearly en route to the India vs Pakistan game at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, a 34,000-seat venue in New York.

MATTA have also designed the perpetual brand identity that is appearing for the first time at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The sequence continues with the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Bangladesh 2024.
